Our client is a financially solid and forward-thinking Microwave Communications Systems company, due to their continued growth strategy, they now require a Sales Manager residing in or around Bergen in Norway to manage and expand the new business sales team to sell their Oil/Gas Communications Systems.
The purpose and remit of the Sales Manager Microwave Communications Systems role: -
Reporting to Sales Director.
Expand and build the existing new business.
Implement a Sales Strategy for your team designed to create, develop and maintain business relationships with new business customers.
Build up a pipeline of new business Oil/Gas sales opportunities to ensure your sales targets will be achieved.
Identifying and reporting on potential sales opportunities in specific target markets.
Negotiating the terms of agreements and work with team to close new business sales.
Deliver on sales by ensuring the team developing business relationships directly and through channel partners.
Creating accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide business customers with quotations.
Gathering customer and market information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
Representing our clients organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
Negotiating variations in prices, delivery and specifications.
Advising on forthcoming product/s developments and discussing of special promotions.
Keeping up to date with all our client's products and services ranges to advise current and potential customers of our clients competitive offerings.
The Sales Manager Microwave Communications Systems experience and qualifications: -
Oil/Gas Business Development experience successfully selling Microwave communications Systems.
Broad understanding of all areas of management, including a knowledge of finance, marketing and communications, channel management and a knowledge of legislation relevant to their area of business.
Excellent customer facing, presentation and communications skills (verbal and written).
Good business sense with excellent sales and negotiation skills.
Must be self-motivated, and the ability to motivate a team of result driven sales people.
Creative with strong man management skills.
Ability to interact with staff and business customers at all levels.
Resides - Norway. other locations will be considered
