Our client is a well-respected and successful Managed Services company that provides Document and Content Management, Unified Communications and IT Services and due to continued success, they are now recruiting for another Senior Business Development Manager to sell their range of products and services throughout London and the South East.
The purpose and remit of the Senior Business Development Manager - Managed Services role: -
Ensure that all your personal sales objectives are achieved / exceeded by driving sales through the existing strategic customer base and your new business opportunities delivered by self-generated and telesales-based activities.
Target both core and non-core products and services into new and existing customers and targeted competitor account listings.
Increase market share by liaising with the Telesales team in order to target your specific markets.
Update the CRM for all your sales forecasted activities.
Mentor and liaise closely to develop the junior sales team.
The Senior Business Development Manager - Managed Services experience and qualifications: -
Proven track record selling Managed Services (Document and Content Management and/or Unified Communications and/or IT Services.
Experienced in the full sales cycle (from the initial prospect communication through to the contracts execution).
Experienced in managing and closing complex sales cycles.
Strong self-starter with the ability to build and create business sales within Unified Communications (IP Telephony, HD Voice, Data, Enterprise Mobility, Office 365 including Video, IM, Presence and a host of collaborative tools).
Degree level candidate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, ambitious, able to prioritise and detail-oriented.
Ability to demonstrate the status of your forecasted prospects.
Resides in London or the surrounding area (Middlesex Berkshire Oxfordshire Buckinghamshire Hertfordshire Bedfordshire Essex Kent Surrey Sussex Hampshire).
In return, the Senior Business Development Manager - Managed Services will receive with a £50k basic salary plus an uncapped OTE with excellent benefits and great career development opportunities.
