The Company
Our client is a market leading supplier of Event Management Software and they are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join their exciting and rapidly expanding organisation for a basic salary of up to £40k and an uncapped OTE of £60k, excellent benefits as well as genuine career development opportunities. The ideal candidate will live in London or the surrounding area (Middlesex Berkshire Oxfordshire Buckinghamshire Hertfordshire Bedfordshire Essex Kent Surrey Sussex Hampshire).

The Role
The purpose and remit of the Account Manager – Event Management Software role: -
• Delivering customer revenue from your allocated customer business accounts primarily through the provision of annual software licences and additional services sold.
• Building relationships with your allocated customers to identify opportunities for growth and ensuring each of your business customers account reaches its full potential.
• Manage your portfolio of business customers with regular customer account meetings (face to face and online) to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction is delivered throughout.
• Manage your commercial process through our client’s Salesforce CRM.
• Participate in the internal sales meetings).
• Liaise with the internal departments and follow up on your customers operational, support and development projects.
• Build an accurate pipeline of your sales opportunities within your business customer portfolio to ensure your sales targets are achieved.
• Keep up to date with the products and services you sell to enable you to give the best levels of advice to your allocated set of business customers.

The Candidate
The Account Manager – Event Management Software experience and qualifications: -
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience with a proven track record within events, event technology or similar software sales account management role.
• Proven ability to build a pipeline of opportunities, influence key decision makers, negotiate, and close the sale.
• Organised and capable of prioritising to deliver the required sales results.
• Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) products or/and Knowledge of Custom Relationship Management (CRM) solutions or/and Knowledge of web-based office suite (Google Docs) would be preferred but not essential.
• You should have an active interest in both the events industry and technology and enjoy communicating and building business customer relationships.
• Resides in London or the surrounding area (Middlesex Berkshire Oxfordshire Buckinghamshire Hertfordshire Bedfordshire Essex Kent Surrey Sussex Hampshire).
