Our client is a leading global business support services company, suppling services to Sell Side, Buy Side, Retail / Commercial Banks & Global Fortune 500 Companies. They are looking to increase their highly successful New York - USA business team by bringing on an Associate Director - Business Development residing in New York or the surrounding area to sell their Research & Analytics Solutions Services into the Financial Services and Banking Vertical Market.
The purpose and remit of Associate Director - Business Development role: -
Develop revenue-producing relationships with decision-making C level executives at leading financial firms.
Drive the sales cycle of all assigned sales opportunities from initial prospect communication through contract execution working along with Pre-Sales & Solutioning teams onsite and offshore.
Achieve annual sales targets established by the Global Head of Sales.
Point for all communication and sales activities with prospects and customers.
Identify and develop potential alliance partnerships and seek out new market and services growth areas.
Support the teams market research and competitive positioning analysis in partnership with regional presales, marketing and product development staff.
The Associate Director - Business Development experience and qualifications required: -
Proven business hunter in selling Research & Analytics Solutions within the Financial Services and Banking sector.
Good understanding of Capital Markets front office (Trading), middle office (Risk Management) and back office - Capital Markets asset classes.
Proven understanding of investment banking operations and business processes; using research, risk and analytics solutions to achieve business goals and meet regulatory and risk management requirements.
Experience with vendor selection processes including RFI and RFP issuance and response management.
Experience of working with offshore teams.
Degree level candidate self-motivated, ambitious, focused, detail-oriented.
Resides in New York - USA or the surrounding area.
