Our client is an expanding key player within the Collaboration Software sector for both business and education. They are currently recruiting for a Channel Manager residing in the North West (Manchester Liverpool Leeds Blackburn Huddersfield Warrington Bradford Wigan Chester etc) area to join their already successful company.
The purpose and remit of the Channel Manager - Collaboration Software role:-
Build relationships with strategically chosen re-sellers to activate our clients products in chosen markets.
Create and execute business plans within these re-sellers to address opportunities.
Lead strategic marketing planning for the creation and optimization of partners working alongside channel marketing resource.
Drive sales growth through building activity plans and programs that exceed sales budgets and achieve targets for the product and software.
Work to grow your sales pipeline to support your forecast and manage your forecast process accordingly
Ensure your partners are enabled and over achieving their quota for the UK by developing strategic initiatives, delivering product training and enablement activities.
Deliver insights to the broader team and management on gaps in the reseller / DMR / retail network in relation to quantity, geography, market and skills coverage to aid strategic planning and the recruiting of new partners.
Acting as the main point of contact for your partners for all product related activities.
The Channel Manager - Collaboration Software experience and qualifications:-
Degree / MBA level qualification.
Five years minimum experience in channel sales and / or marketing role.
Understanding of channel landscape either at a distributor or at a re-seller level.
Excellent organizational, planning and problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to build and maintain long term business relationships.
Proven abilities to work cross functionally and think strategically with an energetic, enthusiastic and a team-focused mentality.
Strong presenting and closing skills, with an ability to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win / Win philosophy.
Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, changing environment and work with limited coaching.
Valid passport or no impediment to obtaining one.
Resides in the North West (Manchester Liverpool Leeds Blackburn Huddersfield Warrington Bradford Wigan Chester etc) area.
