|Details || Channel Manager residing in Sydney for a financially solid and forward-thinking Communications Systems company with a $170k AUD basic salary plus an uncapped OTE ($240k AUD), excellent benefits and career opportunities that you would hope for from an international organisation. Our client is a financially solid and forward-thinking Communications Systems company due to their continued growth strategy, they now require a Channel Manager residing in Sydney to sell their Communications Systems into the Oceania region.
The purpose and remit of the Channel Manager – Communications Systems role:-
•Grow business in Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, PNG and Pacific Islands).
•Hunt new accounts and diversify product mix in existing accounts.
•Sell on values differentiating from competitors directly and indirectly via business partners.
•Establish and keep close relationship with customers and partners.
•Work closely with pre-sales team to provide optimised value propositions.
•Present value propositions to customers and partners.
•Support Business Partners to achieve targets.
•Meet Order Booking and Gross Margin (GM) targets.
•Create and manage opportunity pipeline and sales forecasting using CRM system (SalesForce.Com).
•Support planning and budget processes.
•Follow delivery with regular calls with sales operations.
•Achievement of firm booking and Gross Margin.
•Achievement of revenue, cash collection and strategic objectives.
•Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting essential for sales effectiveness.
•Achievement of strategic objectives defined by management.
The Channel Manager – Communications Systems experience and qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; Master of Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or/and Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred.
•Minimum five years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
•Experience in managing channels, partners and distributors.
•Experience in selling telecommunication solutions, experience selling wireless solutions would be a plus.
•Proof of record of winning deals.
•Selling on value and not focused on price.
•Able to “think-out of the box”.
•Familiar with local culture.
•Must be a team player as will be supported by two internal staff supporting your sales efforts.
•Sales experience outside Australia; i.e. New Zealand, PNG is an advantage.
•Experience of the Salesforce CRM system would be a plus but is not essential.
• Resides in Sydney, Australia and must have “right to work” documents if not an Australian Citizen.
In return, the Channel Manager – Communications Systems will receive an excellent package including up to a $170k AUD basic salary plus an uncapped OTE ($240k AUD), excellent benefits and career opportunities that you would hope for from an international sized organisation.
