Our client is a financially solid and forward-thinking Communications Systems company, due to their continued growth strategy, they now require a Project Manager - Maritime Communications residing in or around Bergen (Norway) with a responsibility for Managing and supporting business customer throughout the sales process and implementation phase.
The purpose and remit of the Project Manager - Maritime Communications role:-
Managing and supporting existing customers throughout their implementation phase and through the sales process for new projects/initiatives.
Responsible for the financial aspects of customer projects / and customer accounts.
Building relations and being proactive in identifying new business opportunities that will save the client money or increase their efficiency while generating additional sales revenue for the company.
Prepare and activate the documentation required for the project.
Work with suppliers regarding 3PP material for your business customers account.
Arrange and participate in project FATs together with your business customer when required.
Manage the project and account management meetings (internal and external).
Logging sales forecasts into our clients Salesforce software and following up to achieve targets.
The Project Manager - Maritime Communications experience and qualifications: -
Bachelor degree or equivalent certificate is a must.
5 years experience with projects and direct customer involvement, preferably in the Telecom or Microwave communications industry.
5 years minimum of experience with managing client relationships, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Maritime industry.
Good Knowledge of decision making processes in the International Oil & Gas or Maritime industry.
Good understanding and knowledge of technical standards required within the industry.
Proactive and self-driven and a team player.
Well organized with excellent customer facing and communications skills (verbal and written).
Resides in or around Bergen (Norway).
